Websites Mission

In the day and age of gambling within children's products I wish to bring clarity

Blind boxes are a way to prey on children and parents alike, the products within these items are usually lower quality, less consistent, and prey on quick gratifications and the codes constantly change on the blind boxes making one code you figured out not work on the next set you find. But also preys on the fact you'll get items you don't want and keep spending until you do. Many of these LPS blindboxes are heavily misprinted, vary in quality and lack the care the original ones had. Other countries have laws against blindboxes and gambling in toys and in these countries we can see the same LPS in clear packaging.Not only is this wasteful as the ones you don't want usually will be sold, donated or end up in a landfill but it's also not fair to the consumer, the children. Children's toys should not be a gamble and kids deserve quality and transparency.That is why this website was created, so children, parents and collectors don't have to gamble what they're getting. I can't control the quality but I can help people find what ones they'd like.

Boycotting G7 LPS

Please consider boycotting G7 LPS and Basic Fun for their actions against the community and lack of response

You may speak up about the bad behavior of this company but the biggest way to speak out against them is to not spend your money on them. Words matter to spread what they did, but money matters with production.

What happened to Prescott: Prescott Hill is one of the original artist for LPS making many of their old art we remember very fondly from packaging. Prescott made art books containing this work for us to buy. These books stayed up for a very long time until Prescott spoke up about Basic Fun. That is when they made him take down the listings for his books.

LPS'S GENERATIVE AI USAGE

Easter Ads

These images are from around 2025 around easter time, while not horribly noticable the baskets are AI generated and the lps are edited into the photo.

Five Below packaging edits

Seen on a release of LPS at Five Below the "Get Ready with me" Set, the cyan Wolf and hot pink Cat are untouched but if you look closely at the pink fox you can notice it's slightly off model, and the purple lion is very off model with the signature "AI Style" edit to it.There was later an "apology" to this situation and the sunny situation with very vauge and non-direct wording.

Event Calender AI edits

User @franfranlps on instagram has provided these screenshots to me after spotting these edited LPS images with obvious "AI Style" on this listing on Smythtoys, this was found late July, 2026.It is unclear if these AI images on Smythstoys were provided by Basicfun (The creator of these modern LPS) or if they were done by Smythtoys themselves. No Statement has been made.

How to read a lps code

Step 1 : Locate Code

After locating your LPS blindbox/back flip the bag or box over to locate the string of numbers.These numbers should be around the barcode, this is your code.

This code is "31023018ES"

No code by the barcode?

Some codes have been found not by the barcode but instead on the sides of the boxes! Check over your whole box if the code is not located on or near the barcode.

Step 2 : Find Set & Factory

The first 4 digits are your "set" and the last two digits OR letters are your "factory".

These parts [3102]3018[ES]

When you figure this out you can select your boxes button that matches.

This box is "3102 ES"

- Factory digits vary by wave and release, they can be ES,KX,01,02,03, etc.
- Some boxes have matching set numbers but different factory numbers it's important to check both to find the correct code

Step 3 : Find Code

The two digits before the factory number are your pets number/the code.

This code is "18"

Factories?

It has been theorized that the last two digits to code strings relate to the factory that the pets came from, these factories have variants in quality and molding!

Pets from the "ES factories" tend to have molds matching the original molds much closer, the eyes are more inset and the mold details are more defined but the paint has been noted to look more "printed" and the eyes can tend to be a bit more grainy because of the printing but the issue seems less and less with each new series releasedPets from the "KX factories" tend to have flatter, less defined molding but their paint seems to have a more clean "painted" appearance.Between these two factories there can be color differences, paint job differences, etc. and it's up to you which factory you prefer to collect.
